Demonstrators
gathered for a round-the-clock vigil outside the Gap Inc.'s San Francisco
headquarters Oct. 10. Now in its eleventh day, the vigil is part of a campaign
to pressure Gap. Inc. to pay its sweatshop workers a living wage and to call on
Gap founder and chair Don Fisher and his family to put their redwood holdings
into a conservation land trust.
The public is invited to a "Close-the-Gap" rally today, October 11 at 5 p.m. at the vigil site, 1 Harrison St, S.F.
