PRODUCER The Campaign Farm/Squier, Knapp, Dunn.

Anti-Bush Advertising

ON THE SCREEN The spot opens with a tight shot of a flowing American flag and the words "Remember the American dream?" It then moves to an aerial shot of a middle class, suburban neighborhood and children swinging on a tire. They make way for a worker in a factory whose welder's mask is lighted with sparks and then to a man in a miner's helmet outside. The spot then shows children of all races on a school bus and running around a sprinkler before moving on to images of doctors, one surveying an X-ray. Then it is back to workers, throwing bales of hay into a barn and then others looking resolutely into the camera. It ends back on the tight shot of the flag and the words "Make America Work for Every American" and a Web site name.

THE SCRIPT An announcer says: "President Bush. Remember the American Dream? It's about hope, not fear. It's about more jobs at home, not tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas. It's about giving our children their chance, not our debt. It's about providing health care for people, not just profits. It's about fighting for the middle class, not special interests. George Bush's priorities are eroding the American Dream. It's time to take our country back from corporate greed and make America work for every American."

Mindfully.org note: Why spend so much money on slick advertising when the only thing anyone has to do is just show his record. Better yet, show a few quotes by this dunce called president.
