26 de mayo de 2003 Sale de la prisión el último desobediente civil por Vieques el 10 de junioDespués de más de 1600 arrestos y varios centenares de encarcelados, queda en la prisión Federal en Guaynabo el último desobediente, Ismael Guadalupe Torres. "Ismaelito" fue arrestado varias veces, encarcelado en dos ocasiones y saldrá al terminar una sentencia de cuatro meses el 10 de junio. Ismaelito formó parte de la Brigada Minerva Bermúdez, y fue arrestado en los últimos bombardeos junto a los compañeros Grego Marcano, Heriberto Santana, Feliciano Rivera, Leonardo Estrada, Orlando Soto y Gustavo Dávila. Otros desobedientes del Movimiento Socialista de Trabajadores y arrestados durante esas maniobras incluyeron a José Sterlin Ríos, Angel Quiles, Israel Medina Colón, Luis Amely Martínez, Francisco Bartolomei, Edwin Vargas, Abraham Ayala y Angel R. Santiago. Cinco miembros de Partido Independentista Puertorriqueño también fueron arrestados en esas maniobras. La Coordinadora Todo Puerto Rico con Vieques organiza las actividades frente a la prisión Federal para la salida de Ismaelito. El campamento Milivy y el Comité Pro Rescate y Desarrollo de Vieques coordinan las actividades en Vieques, donde se llevará a cabo una Vigilia en reconocimiento a éste úlltimo desobediente civil por la paz de Vieques. 26 May, 2003 Last Vieques civil disobedient to be released from prison on 10 JuneAfter more than 1600 arrests and several hundred persons imprisoned, there remains today in the Federal Prison at Guaynabo the last civil disobedient, Ismael Guadalupe Torres. "Ismaelito" was arrested several times, jailed twice and will be released on June 10th after completing a four month sentence. Ismaelito was part of the Minerva Bermudez Brigade and was arrested during the last bombing exercises together with Grego Marcano, Heriberto Santana, Leonardo Estrada, Feliciano Rivera, Orlando Soto, and Gustavo Davila. Disobedients from the Socialist Workers Movement also arrested at that time were Jose Sterlin Rios, Angel Quiles, Israel Medina Colon, Luis AMely Martinez, Francisco Bartolomei, Edwin Vargas, Abraham Ayala and Angel R. Santiago. Five members of the Puerto Rican Independence Party were also arrested at that time. The Coordinating Group ":All Puerto Rico with Vieques" is organizing activities for the release of Ismaelito in front of the Federal Prison. The Milivy Camp and the Committee for the Rescue and Development are coordinating the activities in Vieques, where a vigil will be held in honor of this, the last civil disobedient for peace on Vieques.
