Gene Grabowski, Vice President, Communications, develops and implements GMA's media, industry and member relations communications programs. Additionally, he serves as the organization's chief communications strategist and spokesperson.
Before joining GMA, Grabowski served as a Director in the Washington office of Burson-Marsteller, where he developed and managed national advocacy and media relations campaigns for leading U.S. corporations. He has also worked as Director of Media Relations for the American Council of Life Insurance and as Manager of Press Information at C-SPAN.
For more than 12 years, Grabowski worked as a journalist. He reported on congressional issues for the Associated Press and served as White House Reporter for the Washington Times.
Grabowski is a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Institute and a member of the Communications Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors of the National Capital Area Red Cross
Grabowski graduated magna cum laude at the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Writing and Speech and has done graduate work in management at the University of Michigan.
